depression among hispanic youth

doing a presentation on the prevalence of depression among hispanic youth and can't believe how high the rates are for them, much higher than whites and other ethnic groups. It would be interesting to find out why?

Hi Jennie,
I am a graduate from UNF in Jacksonville and moved to Dallas, TX in 2008. I did a double major while in school, one of them being Psychology. I enjoy working with kids and have a few years experience working as an educator. I've always found Psychology highly interesting and was just wondering if you knew of any entry level positions available in the Jacksonville area. My diploma in psych is a B.A.

Welcome to NSHP! I came across your profile in the Behavioral Health group. I am currently pursuing a degree in counseling myself, specifically I want to counsel women and children as well.

I noticed your profile and saw that you live in Florida. I work with the doctors who created Proactiv Solution and I am looking for some connections in the Latin communtity who might be interested in partnering with us as we launch our new product line in Florida, Puerto Rico and nationally. If you or other professionals with your cultural background might be interested, please call me at 407-687-8268. I will be conducting interviews there on Saturday, the 23rd. Thank you

Hi Jennie, tell me more about moving from being a psychologist to counselor training. Was your psychology program more theoretical? I'm interested since I have seen other graduate programs in psychology. Thank you.
