Product Marketing Manager – Latin America

Product Marketing Manager – Latin America

Responsible for working with Seiko Epson Corporation, (SEC), Epson America Inc. (EAI) and subsidiaries in product development, marketing, and lifecycle management of Epson's Consumer Inkjet Products, which includes printer hardware and supplies for assigned products.

- Develops a sound product line strategy, including product definition, positioning, and go-to-market plans

- Maintains a deep understanding of the market and competition based on a synthesis of appropriate data, including: primary and secondary market research, customer feedback, sales and market data, product evaluations, and industry network

- Provides input into the development of product road maps for assigned products

- Coordinates with SEC to monitor product development process and makes recommendations for meeting market needs

- Responsible for revenue and profit targets in the region for assigned products

- Works closely with Marketing Communications, Documentation, Service/Support, SEC, subsidiaries management and other groups to effectively manage the product throughout the product lifecyle

- Oversees the launch schedule and process for the product, ensuring that product is delivered within required time frames

- Provides input into positioning and pricing of assigned products; provides channel sales recommendations to optimize use of channels

- Identifies opportunities for and oversees execution of regional company events, including sales meetings, training, and trade shows

- Collaborates with sales and logistics organizations to ensure accurate product forecast and product procurement

- Manages end of product lifecycle and transition to minimize inventory and ensure launch time frames are met

- Serves as internal and external expert and spokesperson for assigned products

- Responsible for obtaining and analyzing competitive data from subsidiaries and benchmarking for assigned products

- Analyzes product sales and special deals (e.g., pricing, product allocation) and provides recommendations to Latin America management to achieve targets


- Completion of an undergraduate degree (B.A. or B.S.); an MBA or equivalent level of post-graduate education is highly desired

- Bilingual English/Spanish required; excellent verbal and written communication skills

- 5+ years of product marketing management experience; experience with supplies and/or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) product or brand management highly desired

- Proven experience in marketing a product line within established or newer markets

- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills

- Self-motivated, team oriented with a “can-do” spirit and sense of urgency with a strong service attitude

- International experience and perspective; embraces business cultural diversity

- Ability to travel up to 50% of time (domestically and internationally)
