Nurse Manager, Nurse Family Practitioner Program

The Nurse Manager, Nurse Family Practitioner (NFP) Program is responsible for managing the development, operations and quality of the NFP team, and ensuring fidelity to the NFP model is consistent with NFP national and Department of Health and Mental Hygiene standards, Agency philosophy, policies, goals and objectives, and Standards of Nursing Practice. You will ensure that NFP and Agency standards for service delivery and team performance are met or exceeded. You will provide key leadership in facilitating and promoting the achievement of the NFP and VNSNY mission, guiding principles and philosophy of practice.
Requirements include a current NYS RN license and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an approved program accredited by the National League of Nursing. Master’s degree preferred. Additional requirements include a minimum of 4 years experience in a health care or human services program, inclusive of 2 years of managerial experience, 1 year working with new mothers and infants and 1 year working in a community-based or home visiting program.
