ORANGEBURG, N.Y., March 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Rockland County resident Leo Arciniegas has been named Hispanic Marketing Manager for Verizon Wireless' New York Metro Region.
Supporting the company's continuing commitment to meet the needs of the more than 3.5 million Hispanic customers in the New York Metro area, Arciniegas now is responsible for identifying Hispanic needs and developing targeted marketing plans. Arciniegas also is charged with reviewing all bilingual advertising and promotional materials developed for New York Metro area Latinos.
Arciniegas comes to Verizon Wireless with an impressive marketing background, including work for Kraft Foods and Major League Soccer's New York/New Jersey MetroStars, where he focused on the Latino community's needs. He orchestrated Kraft's Charlas Sabrosas (Tasty Chats) program, and also supervised Budweiser's Tu Musica, Tu Cerveza (Your Music, Your Beer) and Bud Light's Noches de Rock en Espanol (Nights of Rock in Spanish) concerts while working as a project director at Empire Marketing Group in New York.
A graduate of St. John's University, Arciniegas holds a bachelor's degree in marketing and a master's degree in business administration.
