Commercial Lines Small Business Service Associates

The CNA Insurance Company is hiring Commercial Lines Small Business Service Associates in our Littleton office. Ideal candidates will have insurance experience, strong customer service skills, excellent computer skills and the desire to have a positive impact on the organization. This is a full-time position with benefits. We work a 37.50 hour work week, no nights, no weekends, no holidays. Some overtime hours may be needed during peak processing times. Hours are 10:00 a.m. to 6:15 pm Monday through Friday.

Individuals in this role will provide service support for an agent's small commercial book of business by dealing directly with the agency CSR or the insured via email. Our Services Associates processes general policy transactions for all covered lines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Performs general policy transactions for all coverage lines within the required timeframes. 2. Produces binders, certificates of insurance, evidence of property and other related items using the agency management system. 3. Researches and resolves issues from policyholders, agents and authorized third parties. 4. Monitors and follows up on items that are pending or in process. 5. Assists other team members as needed to service accounts for agents. 6. Provides feedback to management pertaining to customer service issues, process improvements, or recurring problems.

Skills, Knowledge & Abilities: 1. Good knowledge of commercial insurance products (Auto, WC, Liability and Property coverages), administrative requirements and contractual provisions. 2. Basic understanding of insurance industry, its products and services. 3. Strong problem solving skills and math skills. 4. Detail oriented and good organizational and time management skills. 5. Good verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external business partners. 6. Ability to work within a fast paced, high volume team environment. 7. Computer and data entry skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and administrative insurance processing systems.

Education & Experience: 1. High School Diploma or equivalent experience. Some college experience preferred. 2. Typically a minimum of three years of Commercial or Personal Lines experience including basic knowledge of Auto, WC, Liability and Property coverage. Ideal candidates will have experience in an insurance agency in a CSR role. 3. Colorado Property & Casualty Insurance license preferred but not required.
