Over the past few months we have been asked this very same question why did we not consider me for this position.  In the last three months we filled a Chief Development officer’s position, a Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Emerging Marketing position.

Often times retained search firms carry out search assignments with a list of people in mind, but we also find that a good majority of individuals are not part of our stable of talent.

With the Hispanic markets heating up the U.S. Census reports the Hispanic market is growing

With 46 million Hispanics in the U.S. and 30 million online, the U.S. Hispanic market is one of the fastest-growing segments.  Along with this announcement, U.S companies shared research that showed that U.S. Hispanics are more receptive to advertising than the general population. 

Specific findings include:

  • U.S. Hispanics are 58% more likely to click on search ads, compared with the general population. 
  • Six out of ten U.S. Hispanics made a purchase in a store as a result of seeing online. Advertisements while researching products – 22% more than the general population.
  • Seven out of ten U.S. Hispanics use search engines multiple times daily. 
  • U.S. Hispanics text at greater rates than the general public - 64% compared to 56%.

Hispanic are becoming technology savvy which means more companies are going to be seeking bilingual talent.
