I am currently establishing myself as a certified translator. I have worked in Education, and in the banking industry, specifically, in Merchant Services; however, the bulk of my job history evolved in commercial aviation where I held management positions in policies and procedures development, labor relations, flight attendant recruitment, and sales and services. During my tenure, I worked in New York, London, Madrid, various cities in the Middle East, and finally in St. Louis, MO.
My involvement in commercial aviation exposed me to the challenges that the Airline Industry faced while transitioning from a regulated to a deregulated environment. Eventually, I was a "casualty" of the result of those changes, when the airline that I worked for went out of business, after 76 years of existence; in fact, it was the oldest airline in the United States, and the “Grand Dame” of the Aviation World. Those of you who saw the movie “Aviator” would know what I mean.
One of my hobbies is general aviation. I have a pilot’s license. I also enjoy playing tennis, music and photography.
My academic goal, is completing a Master's degree in Global Management.
