HISPA Role Model Bureau to Hold Annual Three Kings Banquet
"Celebrating our Commitment to Sharing, Inspiring and Transforming"
FREEHOLD, NJ – HISPA, a national non-profit organization with the mission to reduce dropout rates by mobilizing Latino professionals to serve as active role models, will hold its 2nd Annual Three Kings Banquet on Thursday, Jan. 14, 6:30 p.m., at Seabra’s Armory in Perth Amboy.
The celebration recognizes HISPA’s efforts for the past year and the 200 role models who provide support to educational programs across New Jersey. The event will feature dining and dancing, and a silent auction, according to Dr. Ivonne Díaz-Claisse, president of HISPA, which stands for Hispanics Inspiring Students’ Performance and Achievement. The keynote speaker is Dr. Peter Negroni, Senior Vice President of Relationship Development at the College Board.
“We’re very excited to once again host our Three Kings event, our main fundraising event that will enable us to continue connecting Latino professionals with Latino students across the state,” said Dr. Díaz-Claisse. “This great celebration will gather over 200 colleagues, educators, and friends of HISPA who believe in our mission and have seen our growth over the last two years.”
Sponsors for the event are – Platinum: AT&T; Gold: Pfizer, Investors Savings Bank; Silver: Merck, Elizabethtown Gas; and Bronze: Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation, Samsung.
Tickets are $90. A table for 10 is $750. For information about tickets, contact Mildred Medina at 732-826-0415; firstname.lastname@example.org. Attire is semi-formal.
