Bilingual Research Associate (Job ID: 7840BR) – Westat is currently seeking a bilingual research associate to work on a wide variety of Federally-funded qualitative research studies. The ideal candidate will have a background in qualitative research methods, including a demonstrated capacity to assist in the design of research studies; collect qualitative data through a variety of methods (e.g., in-depth interviews, cognitive interviews, focus groups); and draft analytic reports. Additional requirements include excellent oral, written communication, and interpersonal skills; the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously; experience assisting in preparing technical proposals to the Federal Government; and fluency in both written and spoken English and Spanish. A master’s degree with 2 or more years of experience in the social sciences is required; a degree in survey methodology is preferred.
