I am currently employed with Legends in the Wichita Airport Hilton. I have acquired strong oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills, and gained knowledge of the human resources, marketing, and management departments. I am also proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
In my opinion, I feel that a Human Resources internship requires an individual with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and one who meets challenges and responds appropriately. My short term goal is to become a corporate level HR manager with a long term goal of being a VP of HR.
I am a skilled leader with a strong work ethic and have excellent organizational, leadership, training and supervisory skills. In addition to my work experience, I am fluent in both English and Spanish, which I believe will be an asset when interacting with employees whose first language is not English.
For these reasons, I am confident that I can contribute to the Human Resources team through an internship.
