Another Latino has been shot dead in an Arizona home invasion – and the national media is once again ignoring the story. It happened on May 5 and the news is only now surfacing outside the Arizona media through citizen journalism on blogs, Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
According to the Arizona Daily Star...

The scenario described in your book trailer is very real and should be considered when developing current "large" government policy. Unfortunately, if we do not look out for ALL and provide opportunities to prosper "We the people" will be with face to face with socialistic idealism sooner than we think.
It is my pleasure to meet you and I also wanted to thank you for accepting my invite. I read that America Libre will hit the stands in early 2009, I was wondering what you were doing in the PR forum to publicize your book. Will you get the exposure you deserve? I believe Utopia Communications can help you create your brand and get you National Attention. Especially with our new democratic administration!! Yours is a voice that should be heard Nationally!
While I apologize for my lateness in answering your mail, it is never too late to say thank you for all the work you have accomplished in the battle to give immigrants a voice.
It is always stimulating to hear your views and observations about immigration.Your website, Myimmigrationstory.com sheds important light on immigrants and their challenges regarding the unfair immigration law in the U.S. I have also read your entertaining and fast moving novel, America Libre, and highly recommend all members of NSHP to pick up a copy. It is an honor to have had you as a guest on my radio show, En la Linea con El Arana. We look forward to having you on the air with us again soon. I want to suggest a minimalist approach to immigration reform as a more palatable alternative in the face of nativism. What I suggest is the Immigration Technical Corrections Act of 2009. Technical corrections would include ammending Sec. 245(i) from Apr. 30 2001 to Apr. 30, 2010. The technical correction of the position of one digit would allow between 2 and 4 million undocumented residents to become legal. Additional suggested corrections will be posted on my website www.elarana.com in the near future. Thank you once again for your ongoing committment to the immigrant community. Pieter
