Thanks for your comment to my blog post, Robert. We do indeed have much we can learn from those who came before us. There's a reason short-term memory fades as we become older: The things we learned from our parents are by far the most valuable.

Thank you for your kind words. There are those who do it for fame, and those who do for gain, and then there are those who just do it. We at Hawaii Hispanic News are those that just do it. I really believe that we win best when we win together. And for that, we look for Hispanics from all walks of life that they too just do it!! There are so many.
We started the newspaper to show what the mainstream doesn't get to display very often and that is what and how the Hispanics in the United States do to contribute to our society. We normally read about the illegal immigrants and the gang bangers, but what about those who are doing good?
So we really do mean it when we say, Hawaii Hispanic News is about us, for us and from us. We get to tell our story our way. Our concept is to keep it positive and inform others of where we are and what we're doing to create a better tomorrow for the good of all.
Thank you again and please know, if you or any of your loved ones (family & friends) come to Hawaii please contact us. www.hawaiihispanicnews.org
Send me your mailing address and i'll send you the latest copies of Hawaii Hispanic News.
Not sure if you've read "In Pursuit Of Excellence" but if you haven't you should consider doing so. It's a great book and will give you some ideas on how to purse your goal for service excellence. Another great book is "Masters Of Sales" and "Masters Of Success" by Ivan Misner.
Roberto, I joined the group a few months ago but did not keep up and I am still not femiliar with it. I glance a bit in the group's communication and see you are kind of driving the group...;-) Would it be possible to connect/network with you? I am in the real need learn more about DFW and learn my whereabouts. Thank.
Thank you. I still need to pass the LMFT exam to belong to the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy. I'm waiting for the results, let's see. But I worked as a psychotherapist in my home country Costa Rica for the 9 years before moving to Texas.
