To answer your question, I have been doing research in Latino Studies since 2006. You can see some of my work at latinostudies.nd.edu or if you search my name at NSHP.org
For 2009, one of my goals is to get more involved with the 2010 Census. Besides of it being of extreme importance to our community (strength in numbers and above all accurate numbers!), it will keep work coming my way! (who's going to analyze all those numbers?)
Hope everything is going well with you. Are you originally from Chicago?
Your right. and i hate were i work, i work by soxs park, i wear my cubbie blue nice and proud. and like the sox gm once said. the sox can win millions of world series and the cubs not one. this still will be a cubs town. i kinda feel bad for them, they won it and props go out to them, but only people who care are southsiders...lol ok ok enough about sports, sox vs cubs , no one wins..lol
Hey I know what you mean, I live in the suburbs too, but always drive to the city. I'm sure I won't be able to make it to all events, but I'll try to attend a few. The pool hall event, yes, I would love to go but it all depends on the final details and if I can make it, for sure I'll be there.. I hope we get more replies from the members. It should be fun.
