Hispanic professional society & diversity job fairs at NSHP.org

I found this site when I was searching for news on my cousin, Hollywood actor Rudy Ramos. I'm not sure if I belong--feel free to kick me off!

As an independent writer, I am always searching for ways to reach my readers. I have not been able to reach Hispanic readers, and it bothers me because I think Hispanic women would really like my books. Sample chapters can be read on my www.JanelleMerazHooper.com website. If you read them, write to me! Note: My newest book, Bears in the Hibiscus, is not based on my Hispanic community at home. But it's a good read!

Sadly, I do not understand Spanish. My mother denies it, but I maintain the position that she thought I was too dumb to learn two languages. It might be true. I have a stack of Spanish language books and, so far, have picked up very little.

Always my best, Janelle

Hi, Diane. I'm wondering if I'm commenting in the right place--there doesn't seem to be a place to comment on your page. I'm very interested in your group. How do I find out more about it? Thanks so much! Janelle

Hello Janelle, I love love to read books , especially books regarding our hispanic heritage, I only read a few of the chapters and found them to be authentic. I invite you to join the LasComadres organization, free of course. You will find many valuable resources for networkig as well as introduce your blessed talents with all of us.

Hi, Wendy! Good to hear from you. Most of my books are available on the Internet in just about any Internet bookstore (Amazon, Barnes and Noble, etc.). The newest, Bears in the Hibiscus, is available only on my www site right now. I'm putting it on Amazon's Kindle, but it may not be available there for another week.
Thanks for writing! Janelle

Janelle,
I love to read. I typically dont read novels but reading the short chapter for Bears in the Hibiscus has me intrigued. I speak both English and Spanish and believe me after so many years Im still confused. I think grammar in English and count in Spanish.... crazy!
Anyway... thank you for the reccomendation can these books be purchased in a bookstore or only online?
