Materiel Coordinator - (L3 ISGVL BM44668)

This position is within the Planning Organization initially supporting off-site locations for an extended period of time. This position requires 80%-90% travel.
The Materiel Coordinator supports a team based material organization that identifies and reconciles material shortages/requirements for planned orders and releasing production orders to support aircraft schedules and delivery. They will coordinate and initiate material movements between warehouse and production areas.
The Coordinator will advise management and all affected functional areas of the status of work in progress, material availability, and potential production problems to ensure that personnel, equipment, materials and services are provided to meet the schedule. They will communicate in a professional manner both verbally and written with internal customers and all affected functional areas.
The Materiel Coordinator will initiate or participate in Aircraft daily status/shortage meetings with the affected functional areas to provide updated material status in support of the delivery schedule.
The Materiel Coordinator will have sole responsibility for providing current status of material required to meet the aircraft schedule and this will be accomplished through coordination with the required functional areas (i.e. manufacturing shops, procurement, DR Cell team, etc.). Qualified applicants should have basic computer skills, SAP and Microsoft Office experience. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to multi-task.
A Bachelor's Degree in business, Industrial Engineering or a related field is required unless applicant has 8 years of directly related experience.
