Manager of Resource Development

Reports To:

Director of Ticket Sales

President’s Expectations:

Manager of Resource Development will be responsible for the day to day sales staff experience – including lead distribution and coaching/training.

Job Responsibilities:

  • New sales person orientation and training program
  • Maximize Ticket Sales and Ticket Sales Revenue through execution of sales calls and meetings
  • Assist in administering ongoing internal sales training programs, coaching sessions, sales contests and incentive plans
  • Track effectiveness of assigned sales leads and adapt lead distribution as necessary
  • Conduct monthly and annual performance reviews with sales staff
  • Collaborate with Manager of Business Development and Director to develop and implement market strategies and ticket sales plans
  • Active involvement in the recruitment and retention of ticket sales staff in support of Human Resources
  • Exemplify the core characteristics of a strong sales culture e.g. strong interpersonal skills, prompt and professional follow-through, openness to new ideas and suggestions, as well as exhibiting constant “Fire” enthusiasm toward internal and external contacts
  • Create and foster a positive sales culture within the Fire sales team, as well as the entire front office
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by the Director or SVP of Sales


  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • At least three years experience of Ticket Sales experience required; one year of supervisory experience preferred
  • Ability to coach, train and motivate sales people
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Strong computer proficiency
