ATLANTA, Nov. 21 /PRNewswire/ -- The Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) has named McKenna Long & Aldridge LLP's Luis A. Aguilar its Lawyer of the Year for 2005. Mr. Aguilar was selected by a special review committee that considered numerous candidates.

He has a unique ability to very skillfully connect corporate law and business development with issues that are critical to the progress of Hispanic Americans," said Alan Varela, President of the HNBA. The HNBA was founded in 1972 and is an incorporated, non-profit, national association representing the interest of over 25,000 Hispanic American attorneys, judges, law professors, and law students in the United States and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Aguilar is a partner in McKenna Long & Aldridge's corporate practice in Atlanta, where he focuses on corporate governance, corporate finance and securities and international transactions.
