If you are unable to find a message or comment for which you received an e-mail notification....

Lately, a few users have been e-mailing us with concerns about receiving an e-mail that they have a new message, but then they go to their account and are unable to find said message.

In most cases what is happening is that the individual who sent the original message was found to be distributing spam/unsolicited messages, and was banned from the network. When an individual is banned from the network, all of the messages they have left and comments that they have made are deleted also.

This is why on rare occasions you may get an e-mail that you have a new message, only for there to be no new messages when you log in. Please feel free to notify us if you feel you are a victim of spam.
