Hi there, I'm a honorary Latina by way of being mother of two sons whose fathers are Colombian, and I've done a lot of advocacy and volunteer work in the Hispanic community - but am not an I am actually of Chinese and Jewish extraction. Am I still welcome here? Are there programs I will be unable to participate in?

Who has access to view the resumes? Is it any member or only employers?

Hi,

Regarding the upcoming job fair in Chicago, can you tell me if there will be exhibitors representing the legal field?

Do you have to be Hispanic to be a member?

I saw the ad for the job fair in Houston, and I do not remember seeing anything about it being for Hispanics. I pre-registered for it and it was then that I discovered NSHP is the acronym for National Societ for Hispanic Professionals.

Hi! I have just started La Galería Azul (www.la-galeria-azul.com), an online art gallery that promotes Mexican culture through art outside of Mexico. We're looking for Mexican artists to join our website. I am wondering at what point this would be spam? Can I put a post asking for Mexican artists to join us? Thanks!!

I would like to download a press release informing our members of employment opportunities at local Prudential offices.

Hello! I would like to be sponsor by proposing an NSHP cruise amongst your members that will allow for fundraising dollars to be given to the NSHP organization. An NSHP group cruise would allow for members getting together, networking, promote camaraderie and more. You can have group events, networking sessions, breakout sessions/trainings for resume review, how to network, financial training, etc. A great cruise that I found was for Dec. 6, 2009 leaving from Miami and going to Grand Cayman, Honduras, Belize and Cozumel for as low as $384 base per person and each cabin will receive onboard credit, champagne and chocolate and an additional trip as thank you for cruising to support the NSHP network. Also, if you would attend, as our administrator, with 8 cabins sailing, you would cruise for free. Deposit would only be $25 per person and we could do a webinar online one evening detailing the cruise. Please let me know your thoughts on this. I look forward to hearing from you.
