Identify those photos!

How are you all doing on that memoir I asked you to write? (See earlier post). I know. You haven't even started yet. Okay, at least do this: open a computer file and start throwing info into it so everything will at least all be in the same place!

And please, please! identify the people in that shoebox full of photos you have in the closet. The history of a family is an important part of the legacy you'll someday leave for your family.

Leave your footprint!

I'm a writer, so I hope you'll keep that in mind and indulge me. Hold out your arm so I can twist it. What I want you to do is write your memoir. Do it for your family. Do it for your country. Don't worry about the grammar details, just do it! Someday, your family members will treasure it. As for doing it for your country, we're not famous, but we should document our path to the United States, our service to our country, our parents journey, etc.
