Tuesday June 10th, NSHP hosted their 2008 Atlanta Professional Career Fair at the Cobb Galleria Centre. In light of a lack of diversity exacerbating a current and projected nationwide nursing shortage, a new study by the Tomás Rivera Policy Institute examines why there’s a shortage of Hispanic nurses and what we can do about it.

On April 24th, NSHP hosted our first Job Fair of the year in NYC. The event was held at the Metropolitan Pavilion from 10 am to 3 pm and more than 1200 candidates were there. A recent survey of U.S. hiring managers and human resource professionals suggests that Spanish-speaking job candidates will be in especially high demand by employers within the next year.
