How to Control the 'Teaser'

The 'teaser' is what shows up when you are just showing an abstract from the whole story. Examples include items on our Home Page, and our 'Events' and 'News' pages. These pages show the text above the tag <!--break--> tag for each item. If no break tag is found, a reasonable guess is made on where to break. If the story is very short, no break may be made and thus the read more link may be omitted.

How to publish to the home page

An article will appear on the home page if the checkbox entitled Promote to Home Page is checked. This box is found at the top of page when you create or edit a story.
