Youth Prostitution Feeding Cuba;s Tourist Industry

On the eve of Art and Compassion Inc’s Ministry, Youth Outreach Trip to Cuba, (the ministry organization I have partnered with), I post this article I found and add a video that will shock, perturb, disgust and alter you, like it did me. Most especially if you have children and care for those who are abused because of their weakness and social conditioning. (Please have the video translated if you don’t understand… Continue

Difficult return to original career

Hello everybody!

I have always worked with the public. More precisely in the restaurant industry. After many years I decided back in 2001 to change careers and started working in the car industry wher I enjoyed great financial and professional success. As a consumate salesman I always believed that "tomorrow would be better". The economy hit me square in the face and I lost everything. Beyond satire: The Sotomayor Senate Hearings

The second day of Senate hearings for Judge Sotomayor had a couple of moments so loaded with irony, they could have been satirical skits. Unfortunately, what they represented was hardly funny.

Senator Lindsey Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, berated Judge Sotomayor for her now infamous "wise Latina" comment, saying "they would have had my head" had he made the same comments. These words came from a senator whose state still flies the Confederate Battle Flag on the Capitol… Continue

Distinctions that defy logic

The terms Christian and Catholic define mutually exclusive groups in the minds of many in the United States. On closer examination, this is an odd distinction. In common parlance, “Christian” is the accepted term for Protestant denominations, especially those with an evangelical bent. Catholics are somehow excluded from being “Christian.” Yet the Catholic faith can trace a direct lineage to the church founded by the apostles of Christ. Ironically, many U.S. Catholics have come to accept the… Continue

Obama Administration supporting WRONG side in Honduras

When we heard that the Honduran military took over power in Honduras by taking President Zelaya to Costa Rica, the United States joined many countries in criticizing what happened. It seemed that the past methods of military juntas crushing democracies were rearing it's ugly head again.

However, there is more to this story than it seems. As in every story, let's go back to the beginning shall we?

In 2006, President Zelaya won a close presidential election. Similar to all Presidents,… Continue
