The Death of King Drew Medical Center - Who is to Blame?

If physicians would have taken a greater ownership in KDMC, maybe things would have turned out differently. Today, it is what it is. Is there a critical mass and will to rebuild the MLK-Harbor Community Hospital into a much need academic medical center? Texas University Offers Hispanic Marketing Major

Lack of Diversity in the Financial Planning Industry

In 2002, the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards (CFP) collected demographic information from 21,911 CFP holders. As cited in the Journal of Financial Planning, about 5% of the respondents were nonwhite, with 0.94% identifying as African American, 2.42% as Asian American, 1.03% as Hispanic, 0.25% as Native American and 0.5% as other. "Pesos por Pizzas" started a nationwide debate

Pizza Patron, the Dallas-based pizza chain has seen a 10-percent sales increase since Monday. That's when the company started accepting pesos as payment, in addition to U.S. currency.
