Profile Information

about me
I started my professional career helping my family to run our business. We had a clothing line production. My family’s business started in a small room but, soon its production triplicates and we moved to a bigger facility and we hired more employees. My father, a straightforward boss, gave me examples and knowledge on how to run a small business. He showed me how important honesty, loyalty, and professionalism are when running a business and it helped me to grow professionally.
My interest in traveling and my curiosity to know different cultures made me to take a break from my family business. I lived and traveled in Europe by myself for one year. The experience of living abroad, as Au Pair in Germany, gave me the strength to grow as a person. In addition, I had the opportunity to learn other languages like Spanish and German, which helped me to improve my languages skills.
I moved back to Brazil and graduated from Hotel Management. I worked at Caesar Park Hotel in Rio for two years. The experience of working with professionals of the hospitality industry helped me to improve and understand the mechanics of the hotel industry. The importance of the customers as the primary goal of the business and the quality of the services offered were crucial during my time working for the hotel.
Today, I am back to school in New York City. I want to improve my knowledge and I decided to study International Business. I got my associated and I am working on my BA now at Baruch College, which is one of the best business schools in New York. I am very happy for the career that I choose. I met great Professors at college and many projects that I worked on teams helped me to improve even more my skills.
