I am an attorney admitted in Mexico currently pursuing an LLM (Master of Laws) at New York University with a concentration in corporate law. I expect to graduate in May 2009. Sit for the New York Bar and take advantage of my OPT to work here in the U.S. in a legal related practice.

Current: Full time student
Past: I have four and a half years of professional experience in two prestigious firms in Mexico, focusing on complex areas of law. Prior to my arrival to the United States, I practiced transactional law, tax, real estate and intellectual property law, for Mexican, U.S. and Indian clients, always from two different perspectives: consulting and administrative litigation. Furthermore, I have advised on microfinance, migratory law and reviewed contracts of public restructuring debt of the city of Monterrey and the state of Veracruz.
Ideal Job for 1 year: A job related to law and business with Latin America or hispanics.
