Roger Rangel has 30 years of combined experience in law enforcement, retail loss prevention & safety, human resources, strategic business planning, physical security, executive personnel protection, marketing, criminal and civil legal proceedings and teaching.

Rangel has had the opportunity to work and meet with multi level law enforcement agencies, a probation officer, constable, Special Crimes Task Force Investigator, working in partnership with the FBI, Treasury Department, Customs, INS, TABC, Coast Guard, DEA and the NSA.

His work consisted of investigating major criminal activity relating to the retail industry, including professional shoplifting rings, fencing operations, repack and illegal distribution facilities, trailer and cargo thefts, return fraud, credit fraud, drug and weapons violations, auto theft, mail fraud, tax violations and other felony offenses.

His assignment with the NSA consisted of providing executive protection to Senator Edward M. Kennedy.

Rangel went to work for Kmart Corporation traveling extensively throughout the southern United States of America, including Puerto Rico and the US Virgin Islands. As a Regional Manager, Rangel managed and supervised the profit and loss responsibility of up to 150 stores throughout this region. As a representative of Kmart Corporation, Rangel worked with the International law enforcement agencies of the US Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico government in establishing a strong entrepreneurial relationship.

He was recruited to work for the Ozer Group in 2001, a bankruptcy liquidation company as the Director of Asset Protection. Continuing his quest to learn more about the Federal US Bankruptcy Courts and Loss Prevention he became a consultant with the Gordon Brother Retail Protective Services from Boston MA. This allowed Rangel to gain the valuable experience and knowledge needed to thrive in the loss prevention and safety business.

In 2003 Roger Rangel was feature in the Security Access Control & Security Systems magazine as one of The Top Five Security Professionals – who are expanding and redefining the job of Security Directors in the United States.
