- about me
- My educational background in the University of Illinois Accountancy program has prepared me to undertake the responsibilities of a staff accountant. I have a well trained understanding of the budgetary process and have taken classes that dealt with cost accountancy. I understand the underlying principals of financial reporting and the accompanying internal control systems. My educational experience has instilled in me an understanding of GAAP and GAAS. I am able to interpret financial statements and implement company and governmental compliance standards as well as comply with tax regulations Additionally, I can perform account and bank reconciliations and manage a general ledger. I believe I have a penchant for articulating complex ideas and putting these ideas to pen as well. Additionally, the quantitative and qualitative aspects of this specific opportunity lend itself greatly to my strengths both as an accountant and as a proficient written and verbal communicator. I feel I am a qualified individual and hope you take the opportunity to review my experience and qualifications.
