- about me
- I remember working in the fields with my migrant family. I picked citrus, watermelon, cucumbers, and packed melons. I remember my father saying that I had to learn how to work so I could provide for my family. I would tell him that education was going to be my way out. "Yo le decia que yo no iba a trabajar en la labor que voy a estar en una officina". It took a while to graduate with my Bachelors in Civil Engineering because I had to support myself but over the years I acquired valuable experience as a Roadway Designer. I just moved to Dallas from Corpus Christi and I'm excited to be in this big city. I work for HDR Engineering Inc and I enjoy designing highways and driving them as well so I'm really going to like it here. I've worked on many of the toll highways here and now I get to drive them. I feel blessed to be where I'm at now thanks to God, my grandparents and parents for coming to the United States and teaching me how to work hard and never give up on my dreams.

- Just the U.S. but plan to retire in El Chocolate, Mexico

- Mexico but I'm planning on visiting Europe, Japan, China, Australia, Brazil, New Zealand, and Egypt. In my lifetime if space travel become available I would like to vist the Moon.

- My parents are Mexican and I was born in McAllen, Texas which makes me 100% Texan (Mexican-American).
