Thanks for accepting my friend invite. I am in the process of moving to Oahu soon, as soon as my house rents, should be by May. My sister is married to a Hawaiian and my parents moved over there 3 years ago to live with her. Besides my children I have no family here in AZ anymore. After my father passed this past Nov and being recently divorced I found being near my family is my number one priority. As such I will be leaving my house and a good paying job to start over in HI. I keep reading and hearing that's it's who you know more than what you know to get a job there. So here I am... trying to network, network, network...
In your opinoin how is the job market there? I am a Accounting major and have worked in Helath Insurance and Financial Services. I've been applying and getting calls but as soon as they find out I am still on the mainland they don't call back. :- ( I am determined to make it there.. I'm blessed to have my family there to support me until I can get on my feet but they have a full house already. Well, just wanted to introduce myself and say hello. Hope to hear from you soon!
