- Priscilla Flores joined the firm in May 2008 and is a Paralegal based in the San Diego Office. As one of the pleasant voices at the receptionist desk, Ms. Flores’ responsibilities shift between her Paralegal tasks and various Admin duties.
BACKGROUND
Ms. Flores began her Legal career in 2004, as a Legal Secretary for the Law Office of Thomas Matthews. There, Ms. Flores was introduced to the State and Federal Court process and took a liking for Criminal Defense. However, Ms. Flores’ undergrad courses also sparked a curiosity for Law Enforcement. After briefly working Intake at a Correctional Facility and then trying her hand in the U.S. Marines, Ms. Flores returned to the environment she is most passionate about.
From 2006-2007, Ms. Flores worked as a Legal Assistant for Naumann, Levine & Silldorf, LLP, where she gained a significant amount of knowledge concerning Civil Litigations in Construction Defect and HOA matters. Ms. Flores became the go-to person for the majority of the firm’s marketing research and the regulation of visual inspections and testings. In late 2007, Ms. Flores joined Kerry L. Steigerwalt & Associates, as a Paralegal, managing an average of 125 cases, ranging from Misdemeanor DUIs to Felony Thefts, both Adult and Juvenile- within the Southern California region. A native Spanish-speaker, Ms. Flores, served as a liaison to the Firm’s Intake Managers during consultations.
Ms. Flores enjoys watching movies, particularly at the Drive-Thru; like many San Diego natives, she also enjoys BBQs and laying out by the pool.
EDUCATION
B.S. Criminal Justice with Minor in Legal Studies, National University, 2008.
