"Hi Carlos, I'll be working at ULTRA this weekend and I'll be leaving to Brazil next Thursday, April 2nd. I'll be playing in Brazil at the Cafe de La Music and June 1st I'll be traveling in Europe. If you want to make arrangements…"
The Brazilian Funk Music is the bomb I need some of that to spin out here in Houst Tx I have a net work of Dj's that I get work for at the Clubs and special events and I also need some good Miami House Music can you help?
I used to DJ a while back but mostly private events, not really that much into dj'ing at local clubs. If you are in South Beach, your best bet is to try to visit multiple locations and offer your services. If you have a demo cd, it would help a lot if you brought multiple copies to different locations. I would start in small venues, then slowly work yourself up. South Beach is a tough market to enter, there is a lot of talent, but if you have the will you can try it. I would also try other areas, not just South Beach as the competition is tough, particularly in the beginning. Try downtown/Brickell area venues, also Fort Lauderdale and even Aventura and Hollywood area. The important thing is to start somewhere.
I would also try to contact The Womb, a live online stream and try to play there to get some exposure ( http://www.thewomb.com ).
