Teachers work 7:30am to about 5pm, if you count school service (planning, bus route, office runs, etc.) Yet, you have long breaks in the winter and summer, so I think it does have great perks.

They provide incentives if you are recruited outside of the US. So far, I have worked with over 300 teachers from DISD, all from other countries, and they seem very happy with their new jobs in Dallas.

What kinds of hours do teachers really work? Most schools are open from 8-4 but do teachers stay layer than that?
