I am a recent graduate from the University of North Texas with a BA in Spanish and a minor in International Studies. I am currently waiting tables and caring for a family while looking for a full time career that is in need of a bilingual person.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
My ideal job title would be anything to do with international relations; whether it be public relations or international business or advertising or interpreting. Almost anything across the board where I can utilize my skills for being able to speak both english and spanish. I feel that in this day in age, especially in Texas, knowing both languages is vital and eventually will be required of everyone.
what languages do you speak?
Spanish
what countries have you lived in?
Spain
what countries have you visited?
Poland, Germany, France, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain, Mexico, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Belgium
what's your Hispanic connection?
My grandfather is from Mexico and worked for Lockheed Martin for his entire life as well as received Hispanic Engineer of the Year which inspired me and instilled a passion for any Spanish and Mexican culture and knowledge.
