Born in Peru but have lived in the USA for the last 25 years.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
Worked as a Worker's Compensation Government Examiner and enjoyed interpreting and applying the law to real life situations and cases.
Now I work for a commercial insurance company and handle Mexico and Latin American accounts. It is a very interesting job which allows me to deal with companies and people from different countries and learn about their commercial laws and international business procedures.

All my family is originally from Peru, a mixture of Inca, Spanish, and Italian blood. I love my hispanic heritage and enjoy using my bilingual skills to help people of both cultures (American and Latin) to communicate and understand each other in any situation.

Thank you so much for your comment. I have the pleasure of working with some really great folks at Antioch who are dedicated to making the necessary steps to ensure we meet the needs of our communities. Talk about 'in the trench' work ...

We are starting a couple of bilingual computer classes - one on Saturday's from noon 'til 2pm and one on Tuesday's from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm - where we will have people wanting to learn English or Spanish in a computer / business environment coming to share their different cultural experiences in a common setting.

So far, we've had some people show interest ... :-)
