about me
I am a 27 year old Hispanic female who is graduating from Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social Workk and will be receiving my Master's Degree in Social Work in May 2009. I am currently doing an internship in the Charles Rangel Community Health Clinic which is affiliated with the Morgan Stanely Children's Hospital of New York Presbyterian Medical Center.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
My current job is part time, doing clerical and secreterial work at the management office of Castle Village Owner's Corp,. I am at my internship three days of the the week. My past job was an Intensive Case Manager/ Project HEAL Domestic Violence Coordinator at Safe Horizon. It deals with clients whom have been victims of a crime, specifically dometic violence. My ideal job would be to work for an agency or a hospital setting in which my skills as a domestic violence counselor or a facilitator of a support group can be utilized to serve individuals who are in crisis.
what languages do you speak?
I speak Spanish and English
what countries have you lived in?
I have only lived in the United States
what countries have you visited?
I have only visited Puerto Rico
what's your Hispanic connection?
My Hispanic connection is that my family is from Puerto Rican. My father and grandmother from my mother's side of the family was born in Puerto Rico. My mother and I were born in New York, United States.
