Welcome to NSHP! I am group admin for the DFW chapter and I also belong to the Austin Chapter as well. I am wanting to plan a trip with another NSHP member/friend of mine from 7/31-8/2. Do you know of any good flight deals by any chance? We don't need a package. We have hotel already. I would like to possibly meet with some Vegas members while we are there. Very impressive bio!

I live in Henderson, NV and work for the City of Henderson as an Intergovernmental Relations Specialist. Currently, we are getting ready to relocate to the state capital to work the upcoming Legislative Session. As a lobbyist for the City, my responsibilities include establishing and maintaing key relationships with our elected officials, to provide City management with in-depth analyses of issues relevant to local government, plus the list goes on and on...... In my previous employment, I served as the Nevada Political Director for Governor Bill Richardson of New Mexico. Although unsuccessful in his bid for the Presidency of the United States, working for the "Gov" has been the most amazing experience in my short 32 years!

Because of the frequent travel associated with my job, I enjoy staying home on the weekends and take in as much R&R as possible. I enjoy spending time at Barnes & Noble -- reading a true crime book and enjoying a Starbuck's misto. Thanksgiving and Christmas are my favorite holidays.
