The Latino Golf Association is having their next golf tournament on July 18th at Skylinks Golf Course in Long Beach, home to the Long Beach Open. You can check out the players so far by going to www.golflga.com and clicking on Events.
The Latino Golf Association – Golf Club was created to become an official affiliate of the USGA with the mission of promoting the game in the Latino Community.
I used to go with my dad, whenever he go to golf community. We stay there approximately for an hour. Sometimes I get board, good thing he always bring his credit card. So when he meet his colleague, I'm going somewhere and meet my dad after.
What better way to network, than to spend a few hours playing golf.
When was the last time you heard Spanish being spoken at Augusta?

Is it me or are Latinos and Hispanics under represented in the golfing community, when it comes to the business side of things.. I mean I have yet to see a golf commercial in spanish.

- Currently I am the Executive Director for the South Gate Chamber of Commerce. I have a strong background in Business Management and Business Marketing. My previous employers include, Golden Boy Promotions, Red Bull, Dollar Rent a Car and Citywide Group of Companies.
I am also the founder and President of the Latino Golf Association, www.golflga.com, and have a wife, Marisol, and 1 1/2 yr old Child, Sebastian.

- My idea title would be the CEO of the Latino Golf Foundation for kids. Its a dream of mine to build a foundation that teaches inner city kids the great game of golf. This would be an idea job for me when I retire, as I am sure I would still like to do good when I am older.
My current job title of Executive Director is great and would always welcome new and challenging opportunities.
