about me
I am an unlicensed architect in Chicago. I have about four years of experience as an Architectural Assistant at Skidmore, Owings and Merrill. I have a five year professional degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology. I was born in Durango, Mexico and I have been living in Chicago for about 25 years.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
My past job title was Architectural Assistant. Under this title I Helped oversee and produce documentation of several projects from the conceptual design phase to the construction document phase. I also prepared presentation drawings and renderings. In addition, I coordinated with several other disciplines such as MEP and Structural Engineers. I have received training on the latest Revit Architecture software. I was also responsible for creating and coordinating the Revit architectural model for the GSA office building in Denver, CO.
what languages do you speak?
English and Spanish
what countries have you lived in?
I have lived in USA, Mexico, and France.
what's your Hispanic connection?
My mother and I were both born in Mexico and I have a lot of family in Mexico.
