I will definitely buy it. A friend of mine loan me, SAMS Teach Yourself SQL in 24 hours, By Ryan Stephens, Ron Plew. I don't recall it covering servers just the language.

Thanks, you have a great Christmas and Happy New Year too!

In the HR field, I've used PeopleSoft and want to learn more about SQL which I am able to understand it, but there are some things that I don't. I love the HR field, but also have interest in medical and computers. If I take classes, I want to have an idea where to start.
