Hi everyone! I'm Frank and there's quite a few things about me that I could say, but I'm not the type to talk about myself. I guess being in a business that is specifically customer oriented, I've gotten used to knowing how to deal with others better and kind of put myself second. But it looks like the following questions on this profile will have me talk about myself so, read on!
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
I am currently a property and casualty insurance agent for AAA in West Hartford, CT and have been in the insurance business for over 10 years now and thankfully, it's done me well and has provided a great deal of experience in molding me into who I am today.
Ideally, my dream job would be to own my own business, and considering that I am a HUGE technology nerd, it would ideally be providing IT help and setup to & within the insurance business!!
what languages do you speak?
I speak fluent English, Spanish, Portuguese. I also know a full song in Korean, though mostly phonetically, and a few courtesy words in Polish along with enough French to ask where I can eat, sleep and where the nearest facilities are along with the famous "Biblioteca" question.
what countries have you lived in?
I was born in San Pedro Sula, Honduras and actually haven't had the chance to be back there since I came to the US when I was 6, but hopefully, someday I'll decide to visit. Despite being very "Worldly" as far as culture understanding, interests and history, I haven't lived anywhere other than within the US, mainly NY and CT.
what's your Hispanic connection?
My Hispanic connection would be me. Born and bred Latino and being in a career that is meant to help others, I feel good when I'm able to expand my business and be particularly good in a field that has terms that some people who don't quite understand the English language, let alone the insurance language, can understand and me being able to know how to explain those tems properly through my Spanish speaking abilities.
