I am an Eritrean refugee who has been resettled in the US since December 2010. In Eritrea I served in the army as a health assistant and Nurse for seven years, but I have studied Community Development and leadership in Ethiopia Adventist College, minoring in Social Work.
Here in US, I am planning to continue my studies in Nursing, a field I am extremely interested in.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
Well currently I am working for Guest Services Inn, in food services, besides I volunteered to work as information aide/translator for Mary`s Center in Georgia Ave, NW DC for almost a month.

English, Amharic, Tigrinya
what countries have you lived in?
Eritrea, Ethiopia, now in US.
what's your Hispanic connection?
I have`t had any connection so far, but I had some communication for about a month while volunteering for Mary`s Center as most of the clients/patients at Mary`s Center are from the Hispanic society.
