about me
I have over 18 years of experience in academia and business, dealing primarily in higher education in areas related to administration, agriculture, agricultural literacy, agricultural careers, diversity, minority student recruitment, retention, and student development. In addition, he also has experience in the financial services industry dealing primarily in insurance sales and investments.

I am currently Manager of AgForLife LLC, a startup created to help promote agricultural opportunities for young people through career awareness, with an emphasis on underrepresented groups.

I am passionate about education, agriculture, technology and Hispanic issues. I am a certified Strengths Advocate, enjoy conducting workshops to help people use their natural ability and talent to consistently achieve high levels of performance. My Signature Themes (Strengths) are: Strategic, Responsibility, Deliberative, Restorative, and Futuristic.

He holds a B.S. in Agricultural Business and Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in Finance and an M.A. in Agricultural and Extension Education from New Mexico State University in Las Cruces, NM. He also holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Education from Texas A&M University in College Station, TX.
