- My name is Edgar Vargas, and I am a multimedia designer living in San Jose, CA. I am new to the area and I moved her primarily to begin my career. I graduated from a small but very good technical college called Lake Washington Technical College, in Kirkland, WA. I have been freelancing for few years, and have worked for other employers doing various multimedia work.

- In past jobs I have used my multimedia skills to teach youth how to do do graphics and audio/video editing. My ideal job and title would be Multimedia Designer, with an emphasis on audio/video editing. I would also be interested in print and web design work.

- Hola Edgar. One other idea you could do is to go to the schools that teach multimedia like UCD Extension. I used to take classes there and many times they would post jobs there for that kind of work. Not sure if you found this one but theres productionhub.com which lists a lot of multimedia/video companies in California like Chris Tedesco. If I was looking for a list of companies in my field I would start with trade associations or trade groups like cabroadcasters.org. Maybe you can become a member and attend their networking mixers which could lead to a job. Another option is to register with Kelly Services as a temp for now until you find something full time.
