Dr. Daniel F. Flores is an independent scholar, writer, and ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church. After living a year and a half as Director of Studies of Charles Wesley's House in England, he dedicated his efforts to church renewal and the Wesleyan tradition. For more than two decades he has enjoyed teaching historical theology to pastors and lay leaders of The United Methodist Church, The Wesleyan Church, and The Church of God of Prophecy. Dr. Flores is passionate about taking the church to those growing edges in the urban deserts "donde nacer el flor." He is active advocate for comprehensive immigration reform through his supporting role as a member of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference and the board of National Justice for Our Neighbors. His earned degrees include: Master of Arts; Master of Divinity; Master of Science; Master of Philosophy; and Doctor of Philosophy. He and his wife Thelma, an ordained United Methodist Deacon, live happily together in the DFW metroplex.
