To whom it may concern:

First at all, let me provide just at some background information about my working experience, during the time I used to study in Georgia State University, I had the great opportunity to work so Inlingua as ALTA language services as Spanish Instructor and Spanish tester respectively. After receiving my certification from GSU in 2000, I was then employed with Strongwater & Associates as a “Legal Liaison” in the Colombian Consulate. During that time, my duties included but were not limited to the following: translation English documents and report into the Spanish language. I also served as an interpreter between the Attorney of the firm and the Consul. In addition to all of the before mentioned duties, I also visited alongside the Consul different penitentiaries and assisted in interviews with the Colombian inmates. I assisted the Colombian community in regards to different international situations. I attended conferences as well as meetings on behalf of the General Consul to different places such as the Immigration dept., Kennesaw University, Consulate of Argentina, Consulate of Mexico, Atlanta City Hall, etc.

Lately, I used to be employed as a paralegal at Hernan, Taylor and Lee, LLP, which is firm that specializes in the following fields: criminal, civil litigation, family, personal injury and workers’ compensation. Lately, I made a Project with Weather Channel to review the Spanish Website, where I had the opportunity to help then how could be provided an useful weather information service to our community through the web side.

I feel that so my working experience in the Consulate General of Colombia as my other jobs such as the coordination and production of the talk show “Hablemos”, where I have had the opportunity to have contact with the Hispanic community, would be an asset in any organization that needs it.

Also, I am willing to be relocated at Washington D.C, since is a city that I know very well and were I should grow professionally.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I hope to have the opportunity to meet with you at your convenience. If have any question do not hesitate to contact me at 770-312-7092.
