Welcome to the NSHP networking site. Hope you decide to come to the New York City job fair as well, and I hope that you find the type of art/graphics position that you described. My team already has almost 40 companies exhibiting and a few more to come so it should be a terrific career event.

I also noticed that you started a discussion and are skeptical about networking in general. I believe that networking is an extremely important part of developing your career, and even if you don't see immediate results, you never know when the person you meet today can help you out--3 or 5 years down the road.

I hope you’re also able to find other smart people to network with on this site, as I have. Hope to meet you at the job fair.
