I’ve always been interested in working for the common good and to improve civil rights. More specifically, I’ve been working to improve the criminal justice system in Brazil and researching about violence and human rights violations for over 5 years. I moved to NYC in 2008 to pursue a Master Degree in Latin American and Caribbean Studies at NYU, and I’m graduating in May 2010.
