I recently received my Ph.D. in Bioorganic Chemistry from Stanford University in July 2012. At this moment, I am transitioning into a postdoctoral position. Afterwards, I plan to apply for a tenure-track professorship (ideally at a liberal arts college) where I can focus the majority of my time doing what I love most . . . teaching.

Hey Armando! good to hear from you, I just got back to the States, was in Mexico at my parent's place for Thanksgiving visiting family. But no , I couldn't go to the Compact this year either, too many responsibilities as well. Things are good down here, doing a lot of teaching myself and just recently switched directions in my project because it wasn't going well, but now things are moving much better, I am pleased. I kinda wish I switched earlier, instead of beating my head against the wall and could have avoided a lot of stress. oh well. I hope you are doing well too and had a relaxing Thanksgiving. talk to you soon.
