I'm an Australian currently in Atlanta undertaking philanthropic volunteer work. I am currently looking to settle in Atlanta and make it home.
what is your current, past or ideal job title?
My background is in Public Policy and I spent the last 10 years or so working for the Australian Federal Government full-time in everything from The Department of Prime Minister and Government to Immigration to Climate Change. I now work on a contract basis for the NSW State Government in Australia.I have slowly been progressing toward the philathropic and social enterprise sphere. I am passionate about local engagement. My ideal job title would be some thing like Community Development Strategist or Outreach Bilingual Coodinator. A role where I could harness my public policy knowledge and experience, together with my strengths in community development, public outreach, prospect research and analysis as well as get to use my bilungual language skills!
what languages do you speak?
English; Spanish; a working knowledge of French
what countries have you lived in?
Australia, Japan and the US. I was born in Argentina and lived there for the first 18 months of my life.
what's your Hispanic connection?
I was born in Argentina to Paraguayan parents. Spanish is my first language. I did not start learning English until I started Kindegarten in Australia.
